Figuring It Out

I'm trying to figure out my camera. It's going "okay". I've decided to work my way through the book Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson.

The first exercise is to shoot in manual exposure. So, I moved my dial to "M" and started shooting away. I think I got some fairly good shots. What do you think? Any suggestions?

  1. try setting it to the P mode...that mode is good to use if you are just figuring things out...it sets everything for you, the ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. Also, if you use the "shade" setting in your color balance, you will get a warmer tone!

  2. Oh, thanks for the tips! I'll try that tomorrow. So many buttons, wheels, and settings! We need to have a visit. I'll deal with the sleep issue and you can deal with camera issue. Sound like a good deal? :)
